Simon Oslender

A new generation of European groove – performing alongside the world’s finest musicians.
Simon Oslender has rapidly established himself as one of Europe’s most exciting young pianists, organists and keyboard players. Combining infectious energy, remarkable musical maturity and an exceptional sense of groove, his music moves naturally between soul, funk, blues, fusion and contemporary improvised music.
In 2025, he received the prestigious WDR Jazz Award. He has performed and collaborated with internationally acclaimed musicians including Steve Gadd, Will Lee, Randy Brecker, Nils Landgren, Wolfgang Haffner, Bill Evans, Bruno Müller and Jakob Manz.
The Simon Oslender Trio is an energetic and highly flexible concert format, equally suited to festivals, concert halls, cultural venues and intimate clubs. The trio features:
Simon Oslender – piano, Hammond organ and keyboards
Claus Fischer om bass and Jérôme Cardynaals on drums.
Together, the musicians create a modern and energetic sound that remains firmly rooted in tradition. Their concerts combine strong melodies, virtuoso interplay, spontaneous improvisation and a powerful rhythmic drive that connects immediately with the audience.
Simon Oslender is also available as a guest soloist with professional big bands and larger ensembles.
A substantial catalogue of existing big band arrangements of his compositions makes it possible to develop special concert programmes without having to create an entirely new production from the ground up.
