First and foremost, I am a husband, married to Kari, a father of three children, and blessed with several grandchildren. I have an education from the Norwegian School of Sport Sciences and the University of Oslo, with studies in various social and sports sciences. I am a certified volleyball and football coach and with extensive experience as an examiner for private candidates in several subjects.

For over 20 years, I worked as a teacher in upper secondary and folk high schools, and for a few years as a project manager in the Buskerud Sports Association and local leader for Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation, NRK´s annual charity organization. I also had the pleasure of leading Drammen Cultural Forum for a couple of years, and since 2013 I have worked as a freelance journalist in my hometown, Drammen, where I still live and work.

Since 2000, I have developed my own company, TBP Kultur, specializing in cultural production, festival management, freelance journalism, teaching, and examiner work. My CV contains more detailed information.

In recent years, I have increasingly taken on work as an agent for Norwegian and international artists. It is an incredible privilege to have negotiated tours in Norway for the American superstar, guitarist, and composer Pat Metheny, as well as concerts for favorites like Bobby McFerrin and Gregory Porter, and as of 2024, the exceptional Marius Neset in collaboration with the Bergen Big Band.

In my roster I now represent musicians, choirs, and bands from a wide variety of genres.
