First and foremost, I am a husband, married to Kari, a father of three children, and blessed with several grandchildren. I have an education from the Norwegian School of Sport Sciences and the University of Oslo, with a focus on social sciences and sports. I am both a volleyball and football coach and have extensive experience as an examiner in social sciences, history, and physical education/sports.

For over 20 years, I worked as a teacher in high schools and for a couple of years at a folk high school in the northern part of Norway. I have also worked as a full-time project manager at Buskerud Sports Association and as a local coordinator for NRK's TV campaign. For ten years, I worked as a freelance journalist in my hometown, Drammen, where I still reside and work.

Since the year 2000, I have developed my own business (TBP Kultur) focusing on cultural production, festival management, freelance journalism, teaching, and examination work. My CV contains more specific information.

In recent years, I have been working more as an agent for Norwegian and international artists. It is a tremendous privilege, in particular, to negotiate tours in Norway for the American superstar, guitarist, composer, and band leader, Pat Metheny.

 

My roster currently include musicians, choirs, and bands from various genres.
